He was taught active Shakespeare techniques by the late Rex Gibson, who pioneered active approaches to teaching Shakespeare, and includes these in our work.

Napoleon Ryan was born in London.  He works as an actor and comedy writer in Film, TV and Theatre.
In early 2010 he completed a season in the West End after a six month British tour playing the Fox, Owl and Snake in an adaptation of contemporary classic ‘The Gruffalo’.  Previous Shakespeare roles include Edmund, Polonius, Petruchio, Tybalt and
Touchstone.  He won acclaim as The Assassin in Sir Tim Rice's 2006 London revival of his medieval musical, ‘Blondel’.
He is known for being Ray in a music video for The Hoosiers, called ’Worried about Ray’ that was made to accompany the release of their number 1 album ‘The Trick to Life’ in 2007.  In 2008 he was nominated for Channel 4’s ‘4 Talent Best Comedy Performance Award’.  ‘The Black Hole’, another film he stars in, won the inaugural Virgin Media Shorts Award in the same year and several other international prizes since.  ‘The Napoleon Complex’ a pilot sitcom chat show series was broadcast at the end of 2009.  ‘Adventures on the Environmental Journey’, a number of educational films about recycling that he presents, won the Best Audio Visual category at the Green Awards 2009.

Simon Newbury combines his acting with a career as a portrait painter.  He also designs laser arenas.  Easy Pieces uses his artistic talents in our plays - he produced the "cave paintings" for the One, Two, Plenty play.  His stage roles include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Frederick in The Pirates of Penzance and Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus.  He has also appeared in TV commercials and corporate training videos.

Debbie Radcliffe was a powerful and frightening Lady Macbeth in our 2006 tour.  She continued with the role with New Triad Theatre Company's tour later in the year.  The mix of steely determination and suggestive sensuality made it clear to audiences why Macbeth would do her bidding.  To see Debbie's roles and skills, please look at her page on Castingcallpro.
